This year 2009 - marks Ed Enoch’s 40th year singing Gospel music. In August 2003, Ed Enoch was granted the official trademark of ownership for the historical Stamps Quartet name from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Washington, DC.
Ed Enoch is a legendary vocalist in the music industry. His professional capabilities and dynamic and powerful voice have earned him much respect. He is a very successful businessman - entertainer - and a leading Gospel music artist. He creates an imposing presence. His lead voice is strong - powerful - inspiring and clearly recognizable in the music industry.
Ed grew up in a small town East of Nashville, Tennessee. He has never forgotten his roots. Ed attributes his music success to a Christian upbringing where he sang in church and it instilled in him a realness of faith in God - and through God, “all things are possible”.
Ed began his early professional music career singing with Gospel music legend, Jake Hess in Nashville, TN. In 1969, Ed joined the Stamps Quartet. The Stamps Quartet became backup vocalist for the “world’s greatest entertainer“, Elvis Presley, from February 1971 until August 1977. During his shows, Elvis introduced Ed Enoch from the stage as: “The best and most powerful lead singer in the world”.

“The First Lady of Country Music, Tammy Wynette”.

Ed Enoch and the Stamps Quartet have sung with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and other orchestras nationally and internationally during Elvis Presley Memorial Celebrations.
Ed Enoch has performed along with the Stamps Quartet in prestigious venues such as
Radio City Music Hall, New York City - the Astrodome, Houston, Texas - the Silver Dome,
Pontiac, Michigan - Madison Square Garden, New York City - Texas State Fair Main Stage - Wimbley Arena, London, England - and many other prestigious venues throughout Europe,
Asia and Australia.
Ed Enoch and the Stamps Quartet sang the National Anthem, at the Kansas City Chiefs
Football game.
Ed Enoch and the Stamps Quartet sang live - many times on the Grand Old Opry,
Nashville, Tennessee.
Ed Enoch is a member of the Gospel Music Hall of Fame and the Gospel Music Association.
Ed Enoch received a Grammy Award and several nominations for Grammy and Dove Awards.
Ed Enoch and the Stamps Quartet were the first Gospel quartet to sing to a worldwide
audience, televised via satellite, on Elvis Presley’s famous, “Aloha From Hawaii” concert
performance and video. Ed Enoch was also featured on the video, “Elvis On Tour”.
Ed Enoch was featured on various Gaither Homecoming videos, Elvis - He Touched Me video,
Elvis Presley’s 25th Anniversary video.
